DD Form 214

Eligibility is determined and verified by a member’s DD Form 214.  There are different versions of the document based on the year of the discharge. The document need only be cited for membership requirement.  Copies of DD Form 214’s can be requested through the National Archives at:

https://www.archives.gov/veterans/military-service-records.
